Lissette Delgado is a 2nd generation insurance agent with a CPIA designation and a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Legal Studies. For nearly 18 years she has owned and operated two South Florida Independent Insurance Agencies: JVS Insurance Agency and KALA Insurance Agency. 

For the past decade, she has volunteered her time through association work through The Miami Young Agents, the Big I, and the Latin American Association of Insurance Agencies. She sat on the board of the Miami Young Agents Committee for 4 years and was the acting President from 2016-2017. She is also a member of the Latin American Association of Insurance Agencies, where she sat on the board (2017-Current) and is the chair of the legislative committee in 2018-present. Lissette also continues to give her time back to the community through the Invest Project with the Big I in hopes to educate and encourage young students to consider a career in the insurance industry.  

She is an active advocate for the insurance industry's legislative affairs and remains a voice for Florida agents and consumers alike.  

Lissette was born and raised in Miami, FL, and is of Cuban descent. She currently lives in Miami with her spouse Elvis, her son, Gustavo, and her daughter, Reagan. She enjoys the ocean, reading, painting, and politics. Additionally, she values spending her spare time with her family and friends.
